Junior Coaching Summer 2011

Welcome of our new concept of Total Tennis Membership

For a single charge, Juniors can now receive coaching on Wednesday evenings, become members of Wheatley Tennis Club, become members of British Tennis (run by the LTA) and take part in Wheatley Tennis Tournaments.  Parents can then bring their children to play on the courts for free (when available) and can request a clubhouse key. All members get a membership card and regular e-newsletters from the club and from British Tennis.

The cost of Junior Total Tennis Package is £55 for Summer 2011 (Club membership April 1st 2011 to 31st March 2012)

Sessions start on Wednesday 4th May and run for 10 weeks until Wednesday July 6th 2011

from 5.00 to 6.00pm for Mini Reds: aged 8 and under; and

from 6.00 to 7.00pm for Mini Orange / Greens (aged 10 & under)

from 6.30 to 8.00pm for Juniors (first half hour for practice)

Coaching ratios will be 6:1 or better.

My Club Coach are providing Wheatley Tennis Club with a team of LTA trained and licensed coaches to provide high quality coaching in the grounds of Brookes University. We will provide all equipment according to LTA standards, including rackets. Players must wear suitable sports clothing including training shoes and bring a drink.

Session dates:

May 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th

June 1st - Mini Tournament - scheduled between 4-8pm, free for all players from first two sessions

June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

July 6th

Sunday August 14th - free entry for all Juniors (session 3) into the Grade 5 tournament at Wheatley Tennis Club.
